Pitcher Janet Rumsey played four years in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, primarily with the South Bend Blue Sox. She had her best year in 1954, the final season of the league, and threw a no-hitter (the final one in the history of the league) and made the All-Star team that year. Overall in her career, she was 39-43 with a 2.33 ERA in 105 games.
