Jan Felkl has been an Extraliga infielder.
Felkl played for Black Hill Blansko in 2007; at age 17, he hit .253/.316/.333 and fielded .833, leading the Extraliga with 18 errors. In the 2007 European Junior Championship, he was 4 for 12 with 2 walks and 4 runs for the Czech Republic. In 2008, he produced at a .372/.473/.415 rate with 21 runs in 27 games for Olympia Blansko and fielded .929. He was third in the Extraliga in OBP and 5th in average. He joined Express Brno in '09 but fell to .287/.396/.311 with 20 runs and 11 steals (never caught) in 33 games. He fielded just .856, finishing second in the league with 22 errors. He also tied for 6th with 22 walks.
In 2010, he hit .345/.387/.405 with 11 steals in 13 tries and a .900 fielding percentage for Express Brno. He split 2011 between Express Brno (7 for 31, 3 BB in 8 G) and Draci Brno (.256/.363/.308 in 23 G). In the 2011 European Cup, he was 1 for 10 with a walk and a double, starting at third for Draci Brno. During the 2012 European Cup, he was 3 for 8 with 2 RBI in a part-time role; both RBI came in a 7-6 upset over Fortitudo Bologna on a hit off Matteo D'Angelo.
