Jamie Reed

Jamie Reed has been a major league trainer.

Reed began his career of trainer for the 1982 Bluefield Orioles then moved up to the 1983 Hagerstown Suns, 1984 Charlotte O's and 1985-1988 Rochester Red Wings. He was assistant athletic trainer for the Baltimore Orioles from 1989-1996.

On November 16, 1996, he became the first on-field hire in the Tampa Bay Devil Rays history, signing on as their first major league head trainer. He held the role from 1997-2002. He moved to the Texas Rangers as medical director and head trainer in October 2002, a job he still held as of 2010.
