Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher James Agnew played in the Boston/Milwaukee Braves system in 1952 and 1955. He led the Mississippi-Ohio Valley League in winning percentage in 1952, going 16-2 (.889 W%) with a 2.01 ERA in 25 games. He split 1955 between the Evansville Braves and Wellsville Braves, going 2-2 in 16 games. Overall, he was 18-4 in 41 games.

He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
