Biographical Information[edit]

Jake Woods was drafted by the Anaheim Angels in the 3rd round of the 2001 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Bobby DeJardin and made his pro debut that summer. He reached the majors with the Angels at the start of the 2005 season.

On December 20, 2005, the Seattle Mariners claimed Woods off waivers from the Angels. Woods made the Mariners' roster in spring training 2006 and pitched for the Mariners through 2008.
