Biographical Information

Jake Brown appeared in 41 games for the San Francisco Giants in 1975, 16 in the field as an outfielder. He hit .209 with 4 RBI in 43 at bats. He was traded in June 1976 to the Atlanta Braves in the Darrell Evans trade, but did not appear at the major league level again. A classmate of Lee Richard at Southern University and A&M College, Jake died at 33 of leukemia.
