Jaime Lever
Jaime Vieira
Biographical Information[edit]
Jaime Vieira played college softball at Humber College form 2012-2016. During these years she participated in a dual degree program between Humber and the University of Guelph. This enabled her to earn a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion (Humber) while simultaneously getting a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Guelph. Vieira then moved to the York University where she earned a master's degree in Kinesiology and Health Science. In-between these activities, Vieira worked various jobs including working as a teaching assistant at York. The LinkIn page listed below provides a fuller description.
After completing her undergraduate degrees Vieira began her coaching career as an assistant softball coach at Humber, a position she maintained through 2021. She joined the Toronto Blue Jays organization in 2019 as a Programs Coordinator with the Jays Care Foundation. She stayed with Jays Care in 2020 though she moved into a Programs Specialist role. Vieira left this paid position in 2021 to work as a Baseball Operations R&D Intern.
All of this work led to the Blue Jays naming Vieira as a hitting coach for the FCL Blue Jays in 2022. She returned to the team in the same role in 2023, though now using the name Jaime Lever.
