Biographical Information[edit]
"I just really love playing the game. . . there’s really nothing I’d rather be doing." - Jaime Bubela, 2005
Jaime Bubela's professional career ranged from 2000 to 2005, all spent in the Seattle Mariners system. He played 11 games for the 2005 club, appearing mostly in center field, when the regular was Jeremy Reed. He suffered a knee injury in 2004, which was partially to blame for his short career.
Bubela attended Baylor University, stealing bases well and hitting a lot of triples. Prior to college, he was a star quarterback at Cypress Falls High School. Dane Bubela, his younger brother, graduated from Cypress Falls a couple of years later, attended Blinn College, and played a couple of years in the minors.
