Biographical Information[edit]

Jad Prachniak has been a college coach.

Prachniak had a 16-2 record as a high school pitcher and had an ERA under 1 as a senior. He was 1-1 with a 7.59 ERA as a college freshman in 2001 and had a 6.14 ERA and no decisions as a sophomore. His junior year, he improved to 2-1, 3.48. In 2004, he fell to 0-3, 8.06 with 17 walks and 28 hits in 22 1/3 IP. From 2006-2011, he was pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at the College of William & Mary. He then became head coach of West Chester University. In his first season, he went 43-10 and took the school to the 2012 Division II College World Series title, their first championship. He also won the 2017 Division II College World Series and went 273-127-1 through 2020. He left to become assistant the University of Delaware in 2021-2022. Prachniak became head coach at University of North Alabama for 2023.
