Jacksonville, NC

Jacksonville is a military town located directly next to Camp Lejeune, NC. Prior to the arrival of the US Marine Corps in World War II, Jacksonville was a small farming community and county seat. Chad Fonville was born in Jacksonville and raised in an area just outside the city limits known as Midway Park. Junie Barnes died in Jacksonville. White Oak High School is here.
