Biographical Information[edit]
Jack Wallaesa played five seasons in the major leagues, but had his career interrupted by World War II after 1942, his best year.
Wallaesa played pro ball from 1939 to 1955. He was with Baltimore in 1953 and Buffalo in 1954.
He served in the Army in WWII in the Mediterranean. At the time of his death he was a sheriff in Pennsylvania. Source: Baseball in Wartime.
