Biographical Information[edit]
Jack Theis, from Georgetown, OH, pitched two scoreless innings for the 1920 Cincinnati Reds.
The 15-Jul-1920 Canton (OH) Repository reports that Theis was signed by the Reds but was sent to Shreveport for more seasoning. His record should also include the 1920 minor league record attributed to (unknown) Theis, SABR ID b607a523. According to the 23-Jul-1920 Rockford (IL) Morning Star, Terre Haute acquired him from the Reds, but the 25-Aug-1920 Cincinnati Post indicates that Terre Haute returned him to the Reds after a few games.
