Biographical Information[edit]
First baseman Jack Scott played for the Geneva Red Birds in 1950, hitting .237 with 62 hits in 262 at-bats. Following his career, he served in the Korean War.
He was a running back at Graceland University from 1947 to 1950. He later became a college football coach, leading the Westmar College and Eastern New Mexico University teams. He was also an assistant coach for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League.
