Biographical Information[edit]
Jack Martin played two seasons in the majors and had a total of 20 years in pro ball, according to his SABR biography. He was considered a top fielder but a weak hitter. He lived a long life, and for a while was the oldest living Yankee (they were called the Highlanders when he played for them).
