Biographical Information[edit]
Jack Fifield played three seasons in the majors, and also was a star for the Syracuse Stars from 1902 to 1907, when he had 133 victories. Most of his major league career was with the Philadelphia Phillies, where he was four years younger than teammate Ed Delahanty.
He later was an umpire for 3 years.
He is a member of the Syracuse Baseball Wall of Fame.
Fifield was the first major leaguer to have been born in Enfield, NH.
