Biographical Information[edit]
Jack Fanning was up twice in the majors, in 1889 with the Indianapolis Hoosiers and again in 1894, with the Philadelphia Phillies.
In the minors, he played all over the country, for teams such as Oakland, San Francisco, Stockton, Sacramento, Tacoma, Denver, New Orleans, Minneapolis, Davenport, Indianapolis and Buffalo. In the minors in 1892 his pitching record was 35-42 in 83 appearances.
