Biographical Information[edit]
Following a four game cameo with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1924, Jack Berly would not earn another shot in the bigs until he went 16-8 with a 2.48 ERA at Rochester in 1930. His best big league shot came that next year, 1931, when he was 7-8, 3.88 in 27 games (11 starts) for the New York Giants. His time was up after the ensuing two seasons with the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1955, he was elected to the International League Hall of Fame.
