Biographical Information[edit]
J.J. Reimer played college ball at Ellsworth Community College and Western Illinois University. He played for the WIU Leathernecks in 2014-2015 and earned Second-Team all-Summit League honors as a junior and was an academic honor roll recipient as a senior.
After college he did some coaching with youth travel ball teams before being hired as an assistant softball coach for the University of Northern Iowa in early 2018. Reimer spent three seasons with the Panthers before heading to Arizona where he worked in baseball/softball training facilities through 2021.
The Milwaukee Brewers hired Reimer to coach the Biloxi Shuckers in 2022. He was the hitting coach for the Carolina Mudcats in 2023 and Biloxi in 2024. After the 2023 season he served as the hitting coach for the Surprise Saguaros in the Arizona Fall League.
