Jérôme Sana debuted for the Namur Angels in 2005, hitting .207/.292/.241 and fielding .883. The infielder improved to .329/.437/.370 in 2006 but fielded just .844. He faded to .248/.301/.336 in 2007 and fielded .819 with 26 errors to 23 runs produced. In a backup role in '08 for Namur, he was 3 for 13 with a walk. The next year, he eked out a .160/.356/.216 line and fielded .857. He made the Belgian national team for the 2010 European Championship.
