Biographical Information[edit]
Ivers Adams was the first President of the Boston Baseball Association, the corporation that owned the Boston Red Stockings of the National Association. The team was formed in 1871 as the first professional team in Boston, MA, and are the direct ancestors of today's Atlanta Braves.
