Ivan Cherepanov played one game for the Ukrainian national team in the 2010 European Championship. Starting at catcher versus Germany, he struck out twice and grounded into a double play his other at-bat. Defensively, he had four putouts and one assist at catcher; the only runner to try to steal against him was Sascha Lutz, who succeeded.
