Biographical Information[edit]
Iván Crispín was a member of the Dominican national team for the 1979 Pan American Games, hitting .345 as they won the Silver Medal. He also appeared in the 1978 Central American and Caribbean Games, 1982 Amateur World Series, 1982 Central American and Caribbean Games (the second Dominican Gold in baseball in the Central American and Caribbean Games and last until 2010), 1983 Pan American Games, 1984 Amateur World Series and 1984 Olympics. In the '84 Amateur World Series, he hit .182/.206/.273 and fielded .917 as the starting shortstop for the Dominican entry.
