Biographical Information

Itsuki Murabayashi has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Murabayashi was drafted by the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles in the 7th round of the 2015 NPB draft, and he spent his first six seasons in the NPB Farm Leagues; he only got 127 at-bats combined with the big club. He finally broke out in 2023, and he secured the starting shortstop spot. Murabayashi played 98 games, and he hit .256/.311/.336 with 11 steals. He then recorded a .241/.270/.313 line in 139 games in 2024, and he made it onto Japan's roster for the 2024 Premier 12.
