Biographical Information[edit]
Iso Utsumi played two years as a first baseman for the Tokyo Giants. He is more notable as the grandfather of future Giants star Tetsuya Utsumi.
Utsumi went 0 for 5 in the spring of 1938 and 1 for 16 with 2 walks that fall. In 1939, he was 0 for 2. overall, he hit .043/.214/.087 in 20 games in Nippon Pro Baseball.
