The Instituto Preuniversitario José Martí opened in 1863 in Havana, Havana as the Instituto de Segunda Enseñanza de La Habana, the city's pre-eminent secondary school. It was renamed in honor of the famous Cuban poet and patriot following the Cuban Revolution. Reinaldo Drake went here.
