Biographical Information[edit]
Ike Kamp and Bill Vargus were both born in Massachusetts, went to Boston College at overlapping times, and both pitched for the Boston Braves. They were both on the team in 1925.
His obituary in the New York Times (Feb. 27, 1955) indicated that he was manager of a Boston auto park, and had retired from baseball after an injury to his pitching arm while going to spring training camp.
