Biographical Information[edit]
First baseman Ian Gac was selected by the Texas Rangers in the 26th round of the 2003 amateur draft and made his pro debut that summer with the AZL Rangers. With the Spokane Indians in 2007, he led the Northwest League with 17 home runs, and with the Clinton Lumber Kings the following year, he was a Midwest League All-Star. He was signed by the Chicago White Sox organization following the 2009 season. Playing for the Winston-Salem Dash in 2011, he hit .279, led the Carolina League with 33 homers and 96 RBI runs, and was named the circuit's Most Valuable Player. He played in the Atlanta Braves chain in 2012.
