Biographical Information[edit]
Huyler Westervelt pitched 23 games for the New York Giants in 1894.
Later, he was an amateur pitcher of some success, and also worked for a stock brokerage.
Huyler was his mother's maiden name.
Sporting Life of March 21, 1896 said he was still on the Giants' reserve list and had resolved to present the matter to arbitration.
