Biographical Information

Pitcher Hunter Green was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2013 amateur draft by the Los Angeles Angels. It was the Angels' first pick as the team had forfeited its 1st round pick for the signing of Josh Hamilton. Green signed for a reported $942,000 signing bonus, forgoing the chance to pitch at University of Kentucky.

Green pitched 16⅔ innings in 2013, posting a 4.32 ERA with 16 walks against 11 strikeouts. After missing 2014 and 2015 Green retired at 20 years old.
