Biographical Information[edit]

Shortstop Hunter Dozier was selected by the Kansas City Royals in the first round of the 2013 amateur draft with the eighth overall pick. He was the highest pick ever from Stephen F. Austin State University. He soon signed for a $2.2 million bonus and made his pro debut with the Idaho Falls Chukars on June 20th, going 1-for-4 against the Orem Owlz.
