Biographical Information[edit]
Hsin-Yung Chiu played in the CPBL for 2 years.
Chiu represented Taiwan in the 2002 World Junior Championship, hitting .281/.351/.313 with 6 runs in 8 games, fielding .975 as the Silver Medalists' main second baseman. He was drafted by the Chianan Luka in the second round of the 202 TML draft, and he hit .174/.208/.174 in 10 games in 2002. When the two leagues merged, Chiu was assigned to the First Financial Holdings Agan. However, he only hit .225/.235/.238 in 2003 then he announced his retirement.
Overall, Chiu had hit .214/.229/.223 with 22 hits in 2 seasons in the CPBL and TML.
