Hsiao-Chang Yen (嚴孝章) (The Father of Adult Baseball)

Biographical Information[edit]
Hsiao-Chang Yen was a Taiwanese baseball official. He traveled around the world to promote baseball, helping restart the Asian Championship and develop baseball in Guam among other accomplishments. He was chair of the Chinese Taipei Baseball Association, vice president of the Baseball Federation of Asia and was on the finance committee of the International Baseball Association. He was part of the inaugural class of the Taiwan Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014.
