Biographical Information[edit]
Horace Turbeville was a college coach.
Turbeville was head coach of Newberry College from 1967-1978 (also assistant football coach from 1960-1976) and head coach of Winthrop College from 1978-1991. He took Newberry to the 1977 NAIA College World Series and Winthrop to second place at the 1981 NAIA College World Series. He is a member of the NAIA Hall of Fame.
