Biographical Information

Horace Heist was a college baseball player, minor league player and head college baseball coach.

He attended Muhlenberg College, graduating in 1934. His senior year, he recorded 61 strikeouts. He is inducted in the college's Hall of Fame. He was named head coach for the 1945 season.
