Biographical Information

Homer Mock pitched in the minor leagues in 1898 and from 1902 to 1909. In 1902, with the Toledo Mud Hens, Mock went 14-22 in 39 games (37 starts); a few years later, in 1908, he was 22-10 with a 2.59 ERA in 36 games for the Lancaster Lanks. On June 1 of that year, he tossed a no-hitter against the Newark Newks. He was also an adept hitter, batting .312 in 75 games in 1901.
