Hobart College is the men's college, and William Smith (Herons) is the women's college. Lew Carr and Frank Dwyer went here.

The school competed in the Independent College Athletic Conference until 1991, and the Empire Athletic Association until dropping baseball in 1995. Baseball will return to the school in 2023.
