Biographical Information[edit]
Hiroyuki Mori has played in Nippon Pro Baseball and for the Japanese national team.
Mori represented Japan in 1986 Amateur World Series. The Nankai Hawks drafted him in the second round of the 1986 NPB draft. Mori couldn't get many chances with the big club, only had 37 at-bats combined in his four-year career. When Koichiro Yoshinaga joined the team, Mori spent the whole 1991 season in the NPB Farm Leagues, and he announced his retirement after this season. He was a coach for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks since 2009.
Overall, Mori had hit .108/.227/.270 in 4 seasons in NPB.
