Hippos Ostrava

The Hippos Ostrava played two seasons in the Extraliga. Based in Ostrava, they were 7-16 to finish 7th in 1999. Michal Lisko was 5-5 with a 5.40 ERA for almost all their wins. Petr Kubovčík led the offense at .438/.500/.531. They fell to 5-25 and last in 2000; Lisko (5-8, 2.62) had all their wins and led the league in K while also being their best hitter (.349/.438/.524). They then were relegated to the Moravian League and folded in '07.
