Biographical Information[edit]
Hideshi Honda is an umpire. His father Takeshi Honda was an infielder for five seasons in Nippon Pro Baseball.
Hideshi became an umpire in 1994 and reached the Central League by 1999. He has worked the 2005 NPB All-Star Game, 2011 NPB All-Star Game, 2011 Japan Series, 2014 Japan Series, 2015 Premier 12, 2016 Japan Series and 2019 NPB All-Star Game.
