Biographical Information[edit]

Hez Randolph played college ball at the University of New Orleans from 2014-2017. He excelled in his freshman season and led the Privateers in RBI (31), doubles (11), home runs (4), and slugging percentage (.433), in addition to being named a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American. In his senior season, he was named All-Louisiana First Team. After his junior year he spent the summer playing for the Holyoke Blue Sox in the New England Collegiate Baseball League.

Randolph gained his first coaching experience as the Blue Sox hitting coach in 2018 and returned three years later as the head coach. Apparently he impressed some people as the Tampa Bay Rays hired him as a hitting coach for the FCL Rays from 2022-2024.
