Biographical Information

Herbie Smith played baseball and football in college. He was assistant coach for his alma mater in 1967 and then was head coach from 1969-1983 while also assisting in football. He won 327 games as head coach in baseball and won a Trans America Athletic Conference title. He later was a high school football coach.
