Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Henry Meyer played in the minor leagues from 1936 to 1941. The then-18-year-old hit .338 with 20 home runs and 42 doubles for the Eau Claire Bears his first campaign and in 1939, he batted .320 with 11 home runs and 38 doubles for the Dayton Wings. With the Wings in 1940, Meyer batted .312 with 15 home runs and 44 doubles in 127 games.
