Henry Hayden Lannigan (Pop)

Biographical Information

Henry Lannigan once held the world shot-put record. He coached baseball (1918) and basketball (290-90 record) at the University of Virginia. As an athletic director there, he introduced both boxing and baseball programs. He is a member of the College Basketball Hall of Fame.
