Biographical Information[edit]

Henry Henry is an infielder.

Henry signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates at age 18. He debuted as a pro with the 2006 VSL Pirates, hitting .371/.500/.483 in 40 games. In 2007, he fell to .298/.467/.439. In 2008, he batted .341/.431/.446 with 58 runs in 67 games and 37 steals in 50 tries. Due to defensive lapses at 2B and 3B, he played mostly DH. He led the Venezuelan Summer League in hits (85), runs, steals and times caught stealing, was second in average and third in OBP to help lead his club to a title.

Henry came stateside in 2009 with the GCL Pirates but began 0-for-10 with them; the Colombian was one of 10 different nationalities represented on the team. He hit .220 in 29 games in what turned out to be his final season in organized baseball.
