Hellenic Amateur Baseball Federation

The Hellenic Amateur Baseball Federation oversees the Greek national team. Thanks to many Greek-Canadian and Greek-American players, they finished second in the 2003 European Championship and won a couple games in the 2004 Olympics. In 2014, the Greek government dismantled the federation and gave its funding to the Hellenic Gymnastics Federation (which refused to support baseball); the Hellenic Amateur Baseball Federation is still listed (as of 2020) as the representative body for Greek baseball on the World Baseball and Softball Confederation website.
