Biographical Information[edit]
Heinie Elder was a World War II veteran (BN). He was a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army and had previously served in World War I (http://gravelocator.cem.vet.gov). He pitched 3 1/3 innings of one game for theDetroit Tigers on July 7, 1913.
He is buried at Los Angeles National Cemetery.
