Biographical Information

Catcher Hee-keun Lee debuted in the Korea Baseball Organization with the 2008 Hanwha Eagles, hitting .210/~.277/.235 in 84 games. In 2009, he was only batting .158/.273/.263 after 42 games through August. Hanwha let him leave the club to play for the South Korean national team in the 2009 Baseball World Cup. In the Cup, he batted .185/.313/.185 as South Korea's primary catcher. He threw out 2 of 4 attempted base-stealers.
