Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Heath Mason played baseball at Carson-Newman College and was a NCAA Division II All-American pick by the American Baseball Coaches Association and Baseball America in 2002, when he hit .402 with 20 homers and 80 RBIs. Baseball America named him their NCAA Division II Player of the Year. He tied Andy Dillard for the most RBI in Division II and had the most total bases (180 in 58 games). He did not play professionally.
Mason was later a P.E. teacher and baseball coach at Sequatchie County Middle School [1].
