Biographical Information[edit]
Harvey Cushman was the second major leaguer to come out of the University of Maine. He managed to go 0-4 for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1902, a team that won 103 games. He was the only pitcher with a losing record on the team, as Jack Chesbro went 28-6. Harvey had an ERA of 7.36 while no other pitcher on the team did worse than 2.77, with the team ERA being 2.30.
