Biographical Information[edit]
Harvey Bailey played for the 1899-1900 Boston Beaneaters, one of the best teams of the 1890s. As the youngest player on the 1899 Beaneaters, his pitching record was 6-4. As early as 1897, Bailey was already pitching in the minors in New York, and after his major league days he continued to pitch in the minors at least through 1908. He won 20+ games for Columbus in 1902 and Mansfield in 1908.
